Martin Schulz to pay official visit to Denmark - 25 March 2014

The President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz will pay an official visit to Denmark on Tuesday 25 March 2014.

The programme is as follows:

At 8.55am, President Schulz will meet with Meeting with the Danish Foreign Minister, Martin Lidegaard.

At 9.30am, EP President Martin Schulz will meet with Mogens Lykketoft the Speaker of the Danish Parliament. This will be followed by a press briefing at 10.30.

At 10.45am, President Schulz will address the European Affairs Committee of the Danish Parliament.

At 12.15, President Schulz will be received by Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark at the Amalienborg Palace, Christian IX´s Palais.

At 3pm, at the Royal Library, President Schulz will hold a “Town hall meeting” organised jointly by the Royal Danish Library, the Danish Foreign Policy Society and the European parliament in Denmark on "Where do we go from here? A decisive year for Europe."
