EU closes deal on mackarel in north Atlantic

The EU on Wednesday reached an agreement with Norway and the Faroe islands on their share of the north-east Atlantic mackarel stock. Iceland however is not part of this agreement, after the EU and Norway refused to recognise its entitlement to a share.
