EP Committee back visa-free agreement for Moldova

MEPs in the civil liberties committee on Thursday said Moldovan citizens should no longer need a visa to travel to the Schengen area. The visa waiver would apply to citizens holding a biometric passport. A debate and vote in the plenary is set for 27 February.
