Greek finance minister insists budget surplus calculations valid

The method used to calculate Greece's 2013 primary surplus is valid and meets European Union rules, finance minister Yannis Stournaras has said. Stournaras' remarks on Sunday followed an interview by Eurostat i Director-General Walter Radermacher suggesting that Greece's projected surplus, which officials claim could be up to €1.5bn, was still speculative.
