EU en Brazilië starten tweede ronde van samenwerking bij onderzoeksprojecten (en)

On 11 Nov 2013, at Itamaraty, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, a Workshop on EU-Brazil Cooperation in the area of ICT took place, organized in the scope of the VI Dialogue EU-Brazil on Science and Technology established by the S ant T Cooperation Agreement of 2004.
Representatives from the first Coordinated Call five projects and the two second Call projects, both from the European and Brasilian side, participated in a very interactive session covering:

-The achievements and impact of first Call projects;
-
-The formal launch of second Call 2 projects, with an overview of their objectives;
-
-The results of the independent Assessment of on-going EU-Brazil cooperation in the area of ICT; and importantly
-
-The announcement of the third Coordinated Call scheduled for 2015.
From the analysis of the results already available and stemming from the impact and exploitation plan of Call 1 projects, three success stories are worth of particular attention:
