EU en landen Oostelijk Partnerschap bespreken standaarden voor integratie migranten (en)
On 13-14 November, the meeting of the Eastern Partnership’s Platform 1 Panel on Migration and Asylum will take place in Prague (Czech Republic). During it, the 2014 work programme of the Panel and the standards of integration of migrants and the rights of internally displaced persons in the European Union (EU) and Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries are planned to be discussed.
The representatives of EaP countries, EU member states and European Commission will take part in the meeting organized by the Czech Republic, Azerbaijan and European Commission in cooperation with the Swedish Migration Board and the IOM i office in Kyiv.
In 2011, within the the EaP‘s Platform 1 („Democracy, Governance and Stability“), the Panel on Migration and Asylum was established. The main purpose of the Panel is to encourage cooperation and dialogue of EU and EaP countries in the area of asylum and coordination of migration standards and to strengthen the asylum and migration potential of EaP countries.
