EU parliament head Schulz has invited Pope Francis to give a speech at the assembly after meeting him in Rome on Friday. He noted that 25 years ago Pope Jon Paul II gave an address in Strasbourg. He said Pope Francis was "inspiring and thought-provoking" on issues such as migration.
