Merkel praat met Groene partij over coalitievorming (en)

German Chancellor Angela Merkel i's conservatives will meet Green party representatives Thursday for initial coalition talks. Elections on 22 September failed to provide her with a majority to rule the country. The Social Democrats (SPD) are widely seen as the more likely ally, but members are against a 'grand coalition' deal.
