The German Pirate Party is suing the law organising EU elections next year, which sets a 3% threshold to enter the European Parliament. The Pirates, who only got 2.2% in the German elections last month, want the Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe to scrap the threshold which hampers a "vibrant democracy".
