Italiaanse Senaatscommissie besluit Berlusconi zijn zetel af te nemen (en)

An Italian Senate committee decided Friday to strip former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi of his seat following his conviction for tax fraud. If the committee vote is confirmed by the full Senate, Berlusconi can chose between serving his one-year prison term under house arrest or carry out community service.
