Italian economy minister Fabrizio Saccomanni will resign if the country's coalition government breaches European Union deficit limits in favor of tax cuts, according to the Correire dela Sera. "Promises must be kept or I am not staying," said Saccomanni, a former Bank of Italy official who has no party affiliation.
