Statement by the High Representative Catherine Ashton i after Sunday's meeting in the framework of the EU-facilitated dialogue

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the Commission issued the following statement today:

"I met Prime Minister Dacic and Prime Minister Thagi in Brussels today to continue discussions on the implementation of the April Agreement.

The Prime Ministers reached an agreement on telecoms and energy.

Regarding the November municipal elections, we reviewed progress made and took some important decisions to ensure fair elections with the fullest possible participation in the electoral process.

The Prime Ministers agreed that the Working Group on the elections, chaired by OSCE, will meet again in the coming days, so that the decisions taken tonight are implemented in good time. "
