België: geen EU- sancties tegen Zimbabwaanse diamantexport (en)

Belgium wants the EU to lift sanctions on the Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation, a state-run mining firm, despite deep concerns that election fraud in July's presidential election kept President Robert Mugabe in power. EU ministers agreed in February agreed to maintain sanctions if elections were not “peaceful, transparent and credible.”
