Reactie EP-voorzitter Schulz op de plotselinge dood van Lothar Bisky (en)

Following the death of the former group leader of the GUE/NGL group in the European Parliament, EP-President Martin Schulz i made the following statement:

I am deeply saddened by the sudden and unexpected death of Lothar Bisky i. He was a great and humane colleague. The European Parliament loses a dependable and competent deputy whose work and conduct was appreciated beyond all party lines. His death is a big loss for the pragmatic left in Europe.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
