Fearing insolvency, Slovenia's politicians have approved the privatisation of 15 companies, including ski-and boat-maker Elan and main telecommunications provider Telekom Slovenije, in a bid to shore up the government budget and keep ailing banks afloat, reports WSJ. The state still owns stakes in more than 80 other companies.
