EC neemt geen juridische stappen tegen Hongaarse telecombelasting (en)

The European Commission Tuesday announced it was dropping legal action against Hungary's special telecoms tax. It took the action believing the levy to be against EU law but, reports Reuters, dropped the case after an unfavourable ruling by the European Court of Justice in a similar case involving France.
