Litouws voorzitterschap trapt 1 juli af in boekhandel Waterstones, Brussel (en)

July 1, from 6.30 pm to 9 pm the popular English bookshop Waterstones Brussels will widely open its doors for a cultural evening to celebrate the start of Lithuania’s Presidency of the EU Council. The project has been initiated by Waterstones Brussels and organized in collaboration with the Permanent Representation of Lithuania to the EU to put focus on Lithuania and spread the literature about Lithuania in the English language.

Up until December 31st books by Lithuanian and foreign scholars and researchers on politics, history, economics, society, tourism as well as fiction and poetry by Lithuanian authors will be on display and sale.

The months of November-December will be highlighted with the book art exhibition “The Most Beautiful Lithuanian Books 2012”. The bookshop will also be hosting meetings with the authors.
