Geweld besmeurt verkiezingsdag Albanië (en)

Albania's ruling party and opposition both claimed victory in Sunday's parliamentary election. After a vote marred by a shootout which killed an opposition activist, socialist leader Edi Rama called on Prime Minister Sali Berisha to "prepare the transition" after two consecutive terms as the leader of the ex-communist Adriatic nation.
