Cypriot president Nikos Anastasiadis has come under pressure from opposition politicians to explain why he made a formal trip to Paris last week on the plane of a Russian billionaire, reports Vestnik. Anastasiadis says he turned to his friend due to a strike by French air traffic controllers.
