In an exclusive interview with viEUws a few hours before the crucial June 14 EU Ministerial meeting that will discuss the TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership) mandate, Lithuanian Trade Vice-Minister Rolandas Krišciunas tells leading trade journalist Lénaïc Vaudin d’Imécourt that at the end of the day there will be a text which will suit all Member States.

The upcoming Lithuanian Presidency argues that as much as possible should be on the negotiating table of the EU-US trade talks in order to get an ambitious agreement.

“It is still a mandate for the EU to negotiate with the US, it is not a mandate for France or any other single country to negotiate with the US.”
