In Istanbul about challenges and vision for Turkey' s EU accession
Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle will visit Istanbul on Thursday and Friday to discuss the accession process of Turkey.
He will meet with Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış, representatives of the civil society and think-tanks. Commissioner Füle will also speak at the conference "Rethinking Global Challenges" about a wider vision for the EU-Turkey relations on the background of the current and future challenges.
The conference will be also an opportunity for a debate on medium term future for Turkey and reflections on lessons learnt from events of last few days.
