EU-ambtenaren kondigen nieuwe staking aan (en)

Staff in the EU Council, the member states' secretariat in Brussels, have said they will strike over proposed pay cuts on 16 and 17 May, following two earlier walk-outs this year. A trade union statement said: "institutions would no longer be able to recruit competent staff" if cuts go through.
