Spain's population fell for the first time in decades by over 200,000 in 2012, as immigrants left the country amid the economic crisis, the national statistics institute said. The biggest fall was registered among Immigrants from Ecuador and Colombia. The demographics for native Spaniards grew last year by some 10,000.
