Jennifer Baker is joined by Paolo Alberti, spokesperson for the S&D Group in the European Parliament, to discuss the situation in Hungary regarding the new Constitutional reform.
MEPs will debate in Strasbourg controversial amendments to Hungary’s Constitution and their compatibility with EU law. One of the main concerns is that: the changes now tabled in Hungary mean a strong limitation of the powers of the Constitutional Court as well as other issues related with the freedom of expression.
