Jorgo Chatzimarkakis i, a Greek-origin German MEP in the Liberal group in the EU parliament, has told the Athens-Macedonia News Agency he will not stand for election in Germany due to national politicians' negative stereotyping of Greeks and Cypriots. "My soul, my spirit does not permit me to continue," he said.
