Cypriot bank workers will go on strike Thursday after unions claimed that pensions with Laiki bank and the Bank of Cyprus, the country's two biggest banks, have not been protected by the country's €10 billion EU bailout. Laiki will be wound down with its assets transferred to Bank of Cyprus.
