International auditors started work in Cyprus on Wednesday on a survey into its banks' compliance with anti-money-laundering rules, a Cypriot diplomat told EUobserver. The report is due by the end of March, prompting questions by analysts if there is enough time to health-check the island's huge offshore banking sector.
