België onderhandelt over bezuinigen na waarschuwing EC (en)

The Belgian coalition government on Tuesday started negotiations on €2.8 billion worth of spending cuts in order to reduce the public deficit after being admonished by the EU commission. The frail coalition may collapse over the deal in the coming weeks, as parties are at odds about further austerity.
