Turkey and Syria in Hatay
The spokesperson of Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the Commission, issued the following statement today:
"The High Representative extends her heartfelt condolences after the blast that killed 14 people and injured dozens at the Cilvegözü border crossing between Turkey and Syria in Hatay yesterday.
The High Representative strongly condemns this act and stands with the Turkish authorities in the fight against all forms of terrorism. "
