Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday said dropping the bid to join the EU in favour of the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation is an option worth exploring, reports Hurriyet Daily. “If they expect us to leave the [EU bid], tell us openly. Then we’ll consider it,” said the PM.
