EU in debat met Oostenrijkse bondskanselier (en)

Austria's Chancellor Werner Faymann i will debate the EU's future with MEPs at 15.00.
The issues will doubtless include financial market regulation, saving the Euro zone i, setting up a "redemption fund", social measures to accompany structural reform and reducing youth unemployment. MEPs are especially keen to hear Mr Faymann's thoughts on EU-2014-2020 budget negotiations.
Mr Faymann (SPÖ) has headed a coalition government of Social Democrats and Christian Democrats (ÖVP) since 2008. Austria's next legislative elections will be held in autumn 2013.
