EP en Iers voorzitterschap: Herstelbesprekingen tijdens plenaire vergadering (en)

New rules concerning credit rating agencies will be voted on during the first plenary session of the year in Strasbourg. MEPs will also debate Eurobonds and other debt-pooling tools as well as evaluate the outgoing Council presidency and discuss the priorities of the incoming Irish presidency. In addition they will adopt Parliament's calendar for the year and call on employment ministers to introduce a youth guarantee scheme in all member states.
MEPs will also debate the situation in Syria, question the Commission on investment into research and innovation as well as debate the future of the European Union with Austrian chancellor Werner Faymann on Tuesday.
