Michel Petite, former head of the European Commission legal service, is now lobbying for tobacco giant Philip Morris as part of his current position at Clifford Chance law firm, reports Der Spiegel. Petite met commission officials to explain the tobacco industry's line on planned EU tobacco legislation, says the magasine.
