Europese Commissie onderzoekt claim over Poolse betalingsachterstand aan buitenlandse bedrijven (en)

The EU is investigating claims that the Polish government is refusing to pay foreign contractors involved in a €5.5bn road-building programme. The programme is the biggest single EU-backed infrastructure project and evidence of wrongdoing could jeopardise Poland's status as the largest recipient of EU cohesion funds.
