Uitreiking Europese taalprijzen op 8 november in Italië (en)

Met dank overgenomen van Directoraat-generaal Onderwijs, jeugd, sport en cultuur (EAC) i, gepubliceerd op dinsdag 6 november 2012.

On 8th November 2012, 19 Italian projects will be awarded the Language Label for their innovative approach to language teaching and learning

The European Language Label award encourages new initiatives in the field of teaching and learning languages, rewarding new methodologies in language teaching, spreading the knowledge of their existence and thereby promoting good practice.

The 2012 selection of Italian projects awarded 12 Labels in the field of education and 7 in the vocational education and training area to different types of institutions and organizations working on a variety of topics: intergenerational learning, multilingual classes, sectorial languages such as Italian for business and medicine, or for specific target groups such as hearing or visually impaired persons.

All the winning projects share a common feature: the introduction of innovative methods and the coverage of sectors lacking in teaching and learning materials.

The Label Day will be an opportunity to reflect on linguistic competences and multilingualism.

The award ceremony will take place in Rome, in the premises of the EU Commission Representation in Italy. The event is open to all interested participants. Registration is required.
