Czech Prime Minister Petr Necas i’ Civic Democrats (ODS) lost Sunday's local elections, scoring just 12.3% - half of the vote they took in the 2008 elections. Tired of corruption scandals and austerity policies, voters turned to the center-left Social Democrats with 23.6% and the far-left Communists with 20.4%.
