EU enlargement commissioner Stefan Fuele has lambasted EU-aspirant Serbia over its ban of a gay pride march for alleged security reasons. He said he "regrets" the ban and that toleration of sexual minorities is a "core foundation" of the Union. Serbia hopes to start EU accession talks shortly.
