EU wil oplossing in ruzie om eiland tussen Japan en China (en)

EU i foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton i has called for both Japan and China to diffuse tensions over an archipelago of five islands and three reefs. "The EU calls on all parties to take steps to calm the situation," said Ashton on Tuesday. Japan, China and Taiwan all claim ownership.
