Hungary is hanging tough over EU/IMF reform plans expected by mid-week as part of a multi-billion euro bailout package. Minister Mihaly Varga insisted that the country's economic would expand by 1.6% in 2013 despite IMF forecasts of weaker growth adding that “the Hungarian government is ready to continue talks.”
