Sluitingsconferentie Kiutprogramma: verbeteren legale werkpositie Roma (en)

On 4 September the European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional Policy is organising the closing conference of the Kiutprogramme - a Hungarian initiative to support Roma and Sinti to work within the legal economy by starting up a business. The Closing conference entitled?'A Way Out - and a Possible Way Forward Social Microcredit, Financial Inclusion and Self-Employment' is organised jointly with the World Bank and the Polgár Foundation for Equal Opportunities.?

The objective of the event is to present the Kiutprogramme experience in the field of social micro-finance services to enhance the self-employment opportunities of Roma. Policy recommendations will also be discussed and the report on "Financial inclusion", recently concluded by the World Bank, will be presented.?

The event will?take place in Brussels, on 4 September 2012 (Tuesday), from 8:45 am until .5:15 pm, at Novotel Brussels Centre Tour Noir, Rue de la Vierge Noire 32, 1000 Brussels.
