Eurocommissaris Reding: ‘Duitsland moet zich aan informatiebeschermingsregels houden’ (en)

Justice commissioner Viviane Reding i told the Financial Times Deutschland on Sunday that Germany must comply with the EU's data protection regulation. The country passed a law in July exempting the public sector from the regulation. Reding opposes the move and says the regulation must be fully transposed by next year.
