In a joint statement following a meeting in Berlin, German finance minister Wolfgang Schaeuble i and Spanish economy minister Luis de Guindos said that Spain's high borrowing costs corresponds "neither to the economic fundamentals of Spain nor to its growth potential and the sustainability of its public debt."
