Minister van buitenlandse zaken van EU-voorzitter Cyprus bezoekt Servië (en)
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Dr Erato Kozakou - Marcoullis will pay an official visit to Serbia on 11 July 2012. Dr. Marcoullis’ visit to Serbia constitutes the first visit of the minister in her capacity as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the EU member state that holds the six month long Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
During her stay in Belgrade, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will be received by the President of Serbia, Mr. Tomislav Nikolic. Following a a tête-à-tête meeting with her Serbian counterpart Vuk Yeremic, political consultations will be held with the main focus of discussion being Serbia’s European perspective.
The two Ministers will also hold a press conference while Minister Yeremic will be hosting a working lunch in the honour of Minister Kozakou-Marcoullis.
Dr. Marcoullis’ program also includes subsequent meetings with the former President of Serbia Mr. Boris Tadic as well as with Deputy Prime-Minister and Minister of Interior, Mr. Ivica Dacic.
The Foreign Minister will also give interviews to the local TV station RTS and the news agency TANJUG.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus will depart from Serbia on the evening of July 11 for Montenegro.
