The speaker of the Russian Duma, Sergey Naryshkin, is hopeful the new Cypriot EU presidency will ease the European Union's visa regime towards Russia. The current "extremely strict regime" is hampering business and human contacts, he said at the opening of the World Media Summit in Moscow on Thursday.
