Ireland's government on Monday struggled to convince the public that the €85bn bail-out secured in 2010 has the same terms as Spain's €100bn. "They got the exact same deal that we got," deputy finance minister Brian Hayes told RTE, adding it was a "lie" that Spain got cheaper loans.
