Kroatië laat EU-subsidies ongebruikt wegens tekort ambtenaren (en)

Croatia's deputy PM Branko Grcic said the country last year used around one third of the available €140m of EU pre-accession funds. Zagreb does not have enough skilled staff to to fill out the documentation required by Brussels to access the funds, reports AFP. Croatia joins the EU in 2013.
