Pro-EU partij wint Armeense verkiezingen

The Republican Party of pro-EU-integration President Sarkisian won parliamentary elections in Armenia Sunday. There were no street protests by populist runner-up Prosperous Armenia, after violence claimed 10 lives in previous elections in 2008. Two international monitors indicated to EUobserver the vote looked fair, but the official verdict is due Monday.
