Slowakije ratificeert toetreding Kroatië tot EU (en)

Slovakia has become the first member state to approve Croatia's accession to the EU. Its parliament earlier approved the accession treaty on 1 February, while Slovakia's ambassador in Rome deposited the treaty ratification documents on 19 March, SITA reports. Croatia is due to join the EU in July 2013.
