Fotowedstrijd voor jongeren over Europese solidariteit (en)
The Europe-Solidarity Platform is concerned by distancing between the European institutions and its young citizens.
Being convinced that the current economic and financial crisis can only be resolved within a re-enforced Europe that re-discovers its roots in solidarity, the Platform decided to organize a photo competition for the young (16-25 years old) entitled “A united Europe, our shared future”. This contest will allow young participants to communicate their vision of solidarity in Europe through the language of photography.
Photographs should be submitted by 3 May 2012 by midnight (GMT).
The three winners (ex-aequo) will receive Inter-Rail tickets and stays in youth hostels for one-month. The Platform will organize a gala ceremony, photo exhibitions in the European institutions as well as three digital books with input from the winning photographers.
The Europe-Solidarity Platform has organised this contest with the European Commission’s support and in co-operation with the European Youth Forum and the Generation Europe Foundation. The Inter-Rail company has offered the prizes to the three winners.
