The participants welcomed the conclusion of negotiations on a new accord concerning passenger name records (PNR) and the decision to continue talks on a comprehensive agreement on the personal data protection and information sharing. It was agreed that the EU and US would upgrade their cooperation in 2012 in countering radicalisation and fighting terrorism as well as foreigner-integration policy.
